Scana AppTerms of Service
These terms apply to the Scana App mobile application ("the app") published by Vivekanand Pandey ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
1. What the app does
Scana App lets you scan ID cards and documents with your phone's camera and export them as image or PDF files. Optionally, you can back up scans to your own Google Drive account.
2. Your content
Everything you scan is yours. We do not receive it, store it on our servers, or claim any rights to it. You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to scan, store and share the documents you use with the app, and for complying with laws that apply to identity documents in your country.
3. Google Drive backup
Backup uses your own Google account and Google's services under Google's terms. The app only accesses files it created. We are not responsible for the availability of Google Drive or for files you delete from your Drive.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to forge, alter or misrepresent identity documents, to infringe anyone's rights, or for any unlawful purpose.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". Scans are produced by automatic edge detection and may not be perfect; always check the result before relying on it. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including lost data. Keep your own backups of important documents.
6. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
